This water ramp project has been made possible through the $150,000 investment made by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, as well as Freestyle Ontario’s community partners.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you clean the pond?

The pond is spring feed with a constant flow of water entering the pond. We treat the water with an environmentally safe bacteria and dye to limit UV penetration. The pond as a valve that can be opened quickly if there are any problems with the water.

I am not a CFSA/Canada Snowboard/AOA member, can I still jump?

Yes. As long as you are confident skier or snowboarder, you can use the ramp. However, we require that you purchase trial membership for insurance purposes. That means a day pass would cost $65.

Does it hurt?

No it doesn't hurt. We have a pump that breaks up the water so the landings are soft. But, just like any jump, if you hit it wrong then it can give you a little sting.

What equipment do I bring?

A complete list of what to bring is available below. Make sure to bring your skis/board and boots that you use in the winter! If you have an older set, you may want to use those. The safety straps are just rope to tie your boots to the skis incase they fall off.

Do my boots get wet?

Yes, all of your gear gets wet. Your boots will dry in less than two days.

When can I drop in?
