Muskoka Ski Club is proud to once again launch Freestyle Ontario's Timber Tour for the third year in a row. This is Ontario's provincial competition series for all three freestyle skiing disciplines: Moguls, Slopestyle, and Halfpipe.

Athletes travel across Ontario to compete in a meaningful, athlete-centered, community supported, fair, safe, and fun competition circuit.

The first Slopestyle stop will be in Muskoka this weekend, January 20th- 22nd, 2017 by the Muskoka Ski Club at Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area with back to back slopestyle competitions on both Saturday and Sunday.

This competition series will be ranked in the FSO RPA Ranking System. Please check our website to read the Timber Tour Invitations to review the schedule and guidelines required to participate in these events.

The Timber Tour is Freestyle Ontario's marquee event showcasing athletes ages 12-18, from across the Simcoe County, Muskoka and the rest of province competing for the podium.

Max Moffatt - "Roots" Video

We visit Liberty Skis athlete Max Moffatt in his hometown of Caledon, Ontario, to see what it is like to grow up skiing in Eastern Canada. The project reveals a behind the scenes look into where everything started for the 18 year-old Canadian National Slopestyle Team athlete.

The journey begins in Max's back yard at Caledon Ski Resort. The resort is home to a tight-knit group of of die-hard skiers, including the Moffatt family. Moffatt spent his early days learning to ski at the hill, and then later joined the Caledon race team. The resort plays a huge part in the love and passion that Max has today for skiing.

After a few days at home, Max headed to Mount St. Louis Moonstone. What the resort lacks in vertical feet it makes up for with the world-class terrain park; it is home to some of the best skiers in the world.

Max ended his trip by stopping at Blue Mountain Resort for a day of spring skiing. Follow along with us as Max shows us everything that Ontario has to offer.

Website Launch

It's finally here!

FSO is extremely excited to announce the launch of our new website!

The new website was designed to serve all of our members better and attract new members by bringing our sport to life off of the ski-hill. Accessing the information you need should be easy, so that's what we have done!

With the development of our new site, FSO will be showcasing media from local shredders across the province. If you have videos, photos, and/or articles that you would like to be featured on our website and other social media platforms, please send them to michaela@ontariofreestyle.com.

Please let us know if you experience any technical difficulties (info@ontariofreestyle.com) as we move through this transition.
